The semi-final of the IEK Electricians Championship — 2025 was held in Novosibirsk. The geography of the stage was amazing: specialists from 12 regions of Russia came to it! The competition was traditionally hosted by the Novosibirsk Construction and Installation College — a long-standing partner of IEK GROUP in the development of professional skills of electricians.

The semi-final was opened by Vitaly Bykov, a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Novosibirsk Region. He emphasized: “The competition provides students with the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and skills, exchange experiences with colleagues and professionals, and establish useful contacts in the industry. The competition helps to increase the participants’ self-confidence and can help in future employment.”

The first task of the semi-final is dedicated to programming. Electricians had to set up automation of the lighting system using specialized software, as well as industrial controllers and ONI electromechanical relays.

The participants then proceeded to assemble the electrical wiring diagram. This task required both a high level of skill and tactical thinking: the contestants had to correctly allocate time and effort to complete such a difficult task.

One of the main goals of the IEK Electricians Championship is to popularize the profession of an electrician and provide career guidance to young people.

Guests of the semi-final in Novosibirsk were college students and schoolchildren. They enthusiastically participated in master classes and competitions, looked at electrical engineering innovations. The world of electrical installation is fascinating!

The participants' works were assessed by a strict professional jury. The competition was very high: the difference in the scores of some of the winners was only 0.25 points! As a result, the places on the podium were distributed as follows:
