The semi-final of the IEK-2025 Electricians Championship was held in Moscow. 15 electricians from Moscow, the Moscow region, Lipetsk and Vladimir regions, the republics of Tatarstan and Chuvashia were selected. The competition consisted of 24 people per place! The venue for the event was the College of Automation and Information Technology No. 20.
The semi-final was opened by Mikhail Pogrebissky, Director of the Institute of Electrical Engineering and Electrification of the National Research University MPEI. The university is an educational partner of the Championship, and the winners of the competition will receive additional points when entering the university.

The semi-final in Moscow brought together professionals of a very high level: the passing score for the stage was one of the highest in the entire history of the Championship! In such competition there was no room for error: all participants gave 100%.



The competition task consisted of two stages: assembly of the lighting automation system and installation of the electrical installation diagram. The semi-finalists worked with popular IEK products: TEKFOR plastic housings, ELASTA cable laying systems and ARMAT modular equipment. The work went on until the last second!
The contestants were observed by potential employers — representatives of JSC NPP Geofizika-Kosmos. The company showed an active interest in the competition and expressed its willingness to employ the semi-finalists. The Moscow stage was visited by employees of the administration of specialized colleges in Moscow and the management of the Department of Special Electrical Engineering, Automated Systems and Communications of the Academy of the State Fire Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation.
While the jury was evaluating the work, electricians were "roasting" the metal case of the TITAN series multimedia. IEK GROUP specialist Vladimir Gorelikov answered the pressing questions of practicing specialists.
The guests of the semi-final also had something to do: fans took part in exciting master classes, electrical installation competitions and studied the latest IEK products. The activities interested both practicing specialists and college students.


And finally, the winners and prize-winners of the Moscow semi-final of the IEK-2025 Electricians Championship have been announced!
Professionals League:
- 1st place: Ilya Chuprykov, Moscow.
- 2nd place: Rail Garipov, Kazan.
- 3rd place: Alexey Zlobin, Moscow.
Junior League:
- 1st place: Le Tuan Tu, Kazan.
- 2nd place: Sergey Chernozubov, Moscow.
- 3rd place: Konstantin Lazarev, Moscow.

Ilya Chuprikov, Rail Garipov and Le Thuan Tu advance to the finals!
On May 20, 2025, they will compete for victory with the best participants of the IEK Electricians Championship 2025.
Who will represent Saint Petersburg in the final? We will find out very soon: on April 24, 2025, the Northern Capital will host the semi-final.
