IEK GROUP presented the first ever Russian Electricians Ranking

IEK GROUP presented the first ever Russian Electricians Ranking. The presentation of the project took place as part of the business program of the final of the Open Championship of Electricians IEK - 2025. For more than four months, the provisions of the rating were tested in seven regions of Russia with the participation of regional authorities, the teaching community and representatives of industrial enterprises. The final version included the names of 81 specialists.

What is the "IEK Best Electricians Ranking"?

This is the first personalized list of electricians from all over Russia. The ranking was created based on the assessments of specialists at the Open Championship of Electricians IEK 2024, which is held according to international standards of excellence.

The International Electrical Installations Skill Specification, developed in 2022 by a group of experts led by IEK GROUP JSC, was chosen as the basis for assessing the Championship participants.

The International Skill Specification is available on the International Professional Development Platform (www.inpdp.org). The platform was created on the initiative of the EAEU countries, with the support of the Eurasian Development Bank and the organizational support of the Skills Development Agency.

The International Electrical Installations Skill Specification was tested at the International Hi-Tech Competition 2023, the BRICS Future Skills & Tech Challenge 2024 and was approved by experts from the BRICS countries, and will also be taken as a basis for assessing participants at the International Hi-Tech Future Skills Competition 2025.

Thus, it was possible to objectively assess the professionalism and skills of the participants.

More than 3,500 people took part in last year’s competition: this number is more than twice the maximum number of electricians participating in the All-Russian professional skills championships.

The rating consists of 2 parts: regional and personal. It is planned to update the rating annually.

How is the regional rating formed?

The regional rating includes an analysis of the professional map of electricians. It is based on the statistics of participation in the championship and the results of the performance of the region's representatives at all stages: remote, qualifying and final.

The rating is based on several factors: the number of applications for the championship, the activity of the electrical engineering community (the number of people living in the region), the region’s potential for the activity of the electrical engineering community and the training of champions.

Which specialists are included in the personal rating?

The personal rating is a ranked list of electricians who have qualified for the in-person semi-finals and final of the IEK Open Championship of Electricians. It includes the results of the regional stages, as well as the place in the regional and national ratings. The document concludes with the "Top Five Electricians", which includes the most professional contestants.

We present the TOP-3 general electricians of Russia in 2024 based on the results of the Open Championship of Electricians IEK:

• Ilya Chuprykov, Moscow - low-current electrician, OOO TT, student of GBPOU 26 KADR.
• Vladislav Gusev, Saint Petersburg - student of the Saint Petersburg State Budgetary Professional Educational Institution Petrovsky College.
• Eldar Khaliullin, Tomsk - electrician, individual entrepreneur.
