On June 18, the BRICS countries completed their activities to build a knowledge base for promising professions and skills. Developing high-tech competencies, setting standards, developing educational programs, and creating a knowledge base on future competencies are key initiatives implemented by the BRICS Business Council's Skills Development working group. The work of the Working Group is aimed at promoting partnership between educational institutions and enterprises of the BRICS countries.
Of particular relevance in the context of the EAEU-BRICS dialogue is the exchange of best practices in the development of high-tech industries, promotion of innovation and sustainable development, as well as the creation of integration formats and initiatives.
The International Platform for the Development of Skills and Professions proposed within the framework of the events will contribute to the formation of a broad partner network of regional associations of the BRICS and EAEU countries and the implementation of joint integration technology projects.
BRICS experts highly appreciated and recognized the full cycle of competence development implemented on an International Platform, which includes digital support for the development and implementation of new skills and technologies in high-tech industries.
Now BRICS events are supported by the services of the International Platform. Developments generated during joint meetings will be included in the knowledge base and made available to all users of the platform. This will create conditions for the formation of high-tech industries, the development of critical and end-to-end technologies in order to achieve technological independence of countries. The results obtained will be tested at the upcoming International Digital Skills Championship 2023, which will be held under the auspices of the BRICS Business Council.
