RESULTS OF THE DIGITALSKILLS 2023 INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP ANNOUNCED

The results of the DigitalSkills 2023 International Championship were summed up in Kazan. More than 300 contestants from 14 countries – employees of small, medium and large businesses in the industry and representatives of educational institutions-took part in the competition, which was held from September 20 to 23. The winners were determined in various competitions, including participants of face-to-face and distance competitions, participants of the EAEU and BRICS countries.

INTERNATIONAL DIGITALSKILLS COMPETITION 2023 RESULTS

The championship is held annually in order to improve the efficiency of companies. New technologies are permeating production processes through people, and productivity is growing thanks to the introduction of digitalization. People master and change the processes around them, including workplaces, management processes and decision-making. High productivity makes it possible to be competitive on a global level and create new international markets. International cooperation allows you to quickly create high standards of technology and training.

In 2023, 14 countries took part in the championship in full-time and distributed formats: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Brazil, Belarus, China, Ghana, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Russia, South Africa and Uzbekistan.  

The DigitalSkills 2023 International Championship is implemented with the support of the Digital Initiatives Fund of the Eurasian Development Bank and the BRICS Business Council. The competition is part of an annual cycle of events aimed at developing and implementing advanced standards of professions, technologies and skills for high-tech industries. The full cycle of skills and technology development is implemented using the International Skills and Professions Development Platform.

The best specialists in the field of digital technologies took part in the DigitalSkills 2023 competition program. Dr. Liu Zhenyin, head of the delegation of the People's Republic of China to the championship, Chairman of the BRICS Business Council working group on skills and Technology development, President of the BRICS Academy for Personnel, Technology and Innovation Development, noted that the winners of the BRICS Future Skills Challenge championship, which involves more than 5 thousand Chinese technology companies, took part in DigitalSkills. The remote part of the championship is held on the basis of an International Digital Platform, which is a digital environment for the formation of an international professional community and the development of technologies and skills.
