The International Hi-Tech Future Skills Competition and its pilot project in the field of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) were presented during a strategic meeting between Russian Transport Minister Andrei Nikitin and Svetlana Chupsheva, Director General of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives for the Promotion of New Projects.
Specifically, an agreement was reached at the meeting that the Ministry, together with the ASI, will further develop a number of agency initiatives aimed at implementing digital services for monitoring transportation, as well as developing driverless technologies across all modes of transport.
The parties agreed to collaborate on the development of driverless technologies across all modes of transport. Discussing the International Hi-Tech Future Skills Competition at such a venue confirms the relevance of the Competition format for solving practical problems in Russian industry and its role in training personnel for technological leadership.
