On September 5, 2024, the International strategic session in the field of development, production and operation of unmanned aircraft systems was held at the Tochka Kipeniya base (Moscow).
The session was organized by the Skills Development Agency with the support of ANO "University of the National Technological Initiative 2035".
The event was aimed at exchanging experience in developing advanced technological solutions in the field of unmanned aircraft systems, and presenting Russian and international practices for using drones in key industries.
More than 80 specialists from 7 countries took part in the Session – representatives of:
- Technology companies, developers of technology and software products in the field of development, production and operation of UAS;
- Educational organizations involved in training personnel in the field of development, production and operation of UAS;
- Organizations operating in the field of UAS application and maintenance, including activities related to processing and systematization of received data, as well as UAS operators.
During the Session, with the participation of international experts, all those present were invited to familiarize themselves with current technological solutions in the field of UAS, formulate a list of in-demand industry tasks taking into account global experience, and also discuss a range of key technologies that will expand the use of UAS systems in specific areas.
Keynote speeches from representatives of Russia, China and India laid the substantive framework for the Session and reflected promising and end-to-end technologies in the development, production and operation of unmanned aircraft systems, as well as a description of the current state and growth dynamics of the unmanned aircraft systems market in the world.
In their presentations, speakers from Russia, China, India, Ghana, Azerbaijan, Iran, and Belarus presented the results of work on the implementation of digital twin technologies, computer vision, artificial intelligence, and technical simulators to ensure high efficiency in the implementation of unmanned aerial logistics, forest inventory, synchronization of airborne lidar and bathymetric survey methods for coastal mapping, servicing wind turbines, and interaction of UAS in swarm systems.
Based on the results of the Session, advanced practices for the application of end-to-end technologies will be formed in accordance with promising technological trends and industry tasks in the field of development, production and operation of unmanned aircraft systems.
