In Yekaterinburg, the winners and prize-winners of the International Championship of High-tech professions Hi-tech were awarded. The competition was held from November 13 to 17 on the territory of the international exhibition center "Yekaterinburg-EXPO" in Yekaterinburg and in a distributed format with the support of the services of the International Platform for the Development of Skills and Professions.
In 2023, representatives of Armenia, Belarus, Brazil, China, Ghana, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Paraguay and South Africa took part in the events of the High-Tech Championship in full-time and distributed format.
The international specification of skills and technologies was tested at the site of the Electrical Installation competence with the participation of Belarus, Iran and China. Participants from Brazil, China, Iran and India demonstrated advanced skills in high – tech competencies such as "CAD Engineering Design", "Reverse Engineering and Additive Manufacturing"," CNC Turning "and"CNC Milling". For the first time, an international team of contestants and experts from Russia, Belarus and India took part in the Space Systems Engineering competence.
As part of the Business Program of the International Championship of High Tech Professions High Tech 2023 was held International Session on Capacity building in the field of technology and Skills development in high-tech Industries. The event was held in the format of an open meeting of the BRICS Business Council's Skills Development working group and was timed to coincide with Russia's upcoming BRICS presidency in 2024.
The event was attended by representatives of BRICS member countries and partners: Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Iran, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Paraguay. Participants were presented with the BRICS+ countries ' technology, skills and skills development program for the next year. Cutting-edge technological solutions in the space industry, energy industry, as well as digital solutions for launching new and optimizing existing production facilities were considered.

For the first time, High-tech partners from the Islamic Republic of Iran have joined active cooperation (the country will become a full member of BRICS from January 1, 2024). Deputy President of the Organization for Technical and Professional Training of Iran Doctor Mojtaba Noruzi he positively assessed the prospects for cooperation.
"One of the potential areas for cooperation on the development of professional skills can be considered a long-term project within the framework of interregional cooperation on the harmonization of technological infrastructure and educational institutions, – he noted. – This should include production facilities, social partnership mechanisms, and the development of innovative and business skills.".
President of the Russian high-tech concern R-Pro Alexey Korablev he shared successful international practices in the framework of digital twin technologies. Such modern solutions help to reduce the installation and repair time of equipment, as well as significantly increase the possibilities of its use.
"The possibilities of using such technologies are very wide – from the automotive industry to the production of everyday goods- said Alexey Korablev. – For example, together with our Belarusian colleagues, we equip food industry enterprises (dairy, meat, fish, vegetable production) with modern equipment, which allows us to optimize all manual labor operations as much as possible».
The participants of the event paid great attention to cooperation in the rocket and space sphere.
"This is not the first time India has participated in the High-tech Championship. We hold joint events on engineering in the space sector, involving representatives from all over the world. It is possible that someday we will be able to train spacecraft captains on special simulators, thanks to the development of virtual reality technologies."- said the General director of the space company Valles Marineris International Private Ltd. (Republic of India) Jayakumar Venkatesan.
"In the 21st century, space activity is one of the leading technological areas of cooperation, in which the whole world and all countries that develop new technologies are interested.
